Here's a bit of empirical evidence...although I can't remember the figures:

The UK has banned hardcore porn for the last 20 years, and has taken a very unliberal stance with regard to porn, attitudes to sex etc. Anyway currently Britain has the highest rate of teenage pregnancies in Europe, nearly 25% higher at least than whoever's second. Now just about every other major country takes very liberal attitudes to sex, and allows hardcore porn (I remember buying a mag in France when i was 14). The teenage pregnacy rate is significantly lower.

So pornography is bad because.......

this whole board is 'porn' so regardless of what thread you have chossen to post on you have takien part in posting on pron threads even if it is not directly labeled as such.

The best effective method of fighting something such as a board like this this is not to try and win people from the inside but to stay away and boycott it from the outside.

It is easier for you people to pull you into porn that for you to pull people out of porn.

So if you were really such a porn basher you would start some websites on helping people over come thier choices and the consequences therewith choosen.

But a word of advice , if you begin this queest in a proper manner beware the consequences that it will entail. In as much as every porn censirship victory that you do win, so to will a freedom of expression you value will also be lost in the turn around.

Didn't porn bring people here in the first place? The point of a board is that people with simliar interests can have a discussion etc etc. So if you take the porn out where's the similar interests?

You are missing the point of this board this board is an addition to the site which hosts its. Literoica.com is the site which holds this board as one of its features.

Literotica if you want to put it to its absolute lowest base is a 'porn', though I prefer to call it 'erotica', website.

So even by removing the 'porn' from the borad and cleaning it up and only discussing philosophy , politics, weather and sports, you are still contributing to a 'porn' site which you so vehemently{sp?} oppose.

Wait a second, I here you saying well lose the 'porn' site of Literotica and then the board will be usable if cleaned up. Well if you lose the Literotica part of the site then the board goes as well as it is merely an addition to the main site and not the site itself.

So One does not extist here without the other, you can clean up the board all you want but it still is a 'porn' sites bulletin board. If you rid yourself of the pornsite to make the board other wise, you lose the board because there is no point with out the site.

Wrong, you trashed the whole site from your very first post. If you like I can link it here so everyone can see. It was the site you said was wrong....not just some threads.

Also you admitted to reading the porn on the threads you so profess to hate. As I said before...what is the difference between reading and posting? They are both participation...just in different ways.

You are a registered member, you have over 60 posts...you have not only lost your virgin status on the board-you are now experienced, you have read the material and you have participated in several threads...be they porn related or not. In fact, I do believe that the discussions you have been having are, in fact, sex related.

So why do you still support the porn site by even visiting here, that alone is making money for the porn insustry through the visitor impression. You are actually making moneuy for the 'porn' sites you so abhor. By posting here causes yet more people to visit and read, making more money for the 'porn' site. this pne thread alone has made any wheres from 1.50$-8$ for the porn site.

If you want to hit the site where it hurts you would stay away and try not to provoke people into posting and reading the threads period. So just as much as this site is bad you are as bad if not worse just for visiting and posting.

I hate to say it but the next step is to get away from what you believe is trash. No one is going to change your mind...no one is going to try to. That is your opinion and you are more than welcome to not only have that opinion and those feelings but to express them freely.

However, by being here you are saying one thing and showing another. If you are really strong in that conviction than you have no place on this board.
