Back in the day, there was a long running series of Pepsi commercials where "random" people were presented with two pop bottles cloaked by cardboard and asked to taste them, and pick which one was the coke, or which they liked better.
The point being that the Coke drinkers always liked the Pepsi best on the blind test. Of course, Pepsi just never showed the ones who picked Coke.

Rhonda stepped up to the podium and took a giant glug of Sample A, swallowing it down smoothy. Then she took a deep drink of water, gargled and spit in order to cleanse her pallete. Then she gave Sample B the same treatment. However, this time there was a slight pursing of her lips, like something a little sour had crossed her tongue. she then stepped to the microphone and declared:

"I'm sure Sample A is that of my husband. It's thick, but not so thick that it doesn't easily slide down my throat. It has a light effervesence that tickles my nose. It's full bodied, with an after-taste that makes me think a man traveled here."

She looked over to the judges confidently and asked, "So what do I win?"

The judges didn't have good news for Rhonda.

Here's a quirky slice of real life.... When real 3rd party companies ran the test, although it wasn't 100%, like in the commercials, more people did choose Pepsi when they didn't know what they were drinking, but more people chose Coke when the test wasn't blind and they could see the labels.
