Fairhaven: D&D Based SRP

Ishkama's eyes were intent on his face. Lethe gave his quizzical half-smile, wondering what she had made of his slip

'Neverwinter, on the Sword Coast? I have heard of it, but never travelled there. What brought you into this trade of ours?'

Ishkama

"Vengence is what made me leave my birthplace, but I ended up here due to needing funds. We all need gold and stuff when it runs out. Why do you want to join us? Besides all the beautiful women, as you said." She giggled, a feeling new to Ishkama. She was usually really good at controling her emotions, but this one. He must have been putting a spell on her.

Lethe sighed

'I was overconfident. I thought I could travel alone. The Dalelands seem to have changed since I was last in them'

He smiled wryly.

'A group offers protection and security. I do not always... work well with others, but I was drawn to yours immedietely'

'You say you seek vengeance? On whom?'

Ishkama

Ishkama looks down, trying to hide the tears in her eyes. "My parents were killed by a group of bandits. One was a Half orc, the other was a human. There was one elf but we were not sure if he was willing or just brought along. My brother and I hid under a trap door, watching. So, before my father died, I promised to seek revenge on those who murdered them. I have yet to find them though."

Her heart broke talking of such a tramatic time.

Lethe moved closer. The fiery haired elven girl was a paradox to him; so alive and at ease, yet suddenly tearful and insecure. Lethe was drawn to such paradoxes. He wondered if those really were tears that seemed to glitter in the corners of her grey eyes.

'Easy, Ish', he said softly, not caring if he used her nickname this time. 'The pain can hurt you, hurt beyond belief, but it can't destroy you. Nothing can destroy unless you allow it'

He reached out with one hand, to lift her chin, but suddenly the armour of his arm, his signature mournful black, seemed ugly and so he let his arm drop.

Ishkama

Ishkama watched as he seemed about to comfort her, then stopped. She brushed the tear from her eye then looked up at him. "It will not destroy me. I will destroy them."

She smiled. "Your eyes, they are so sad, as if your soul is sad. Is that the way you feel in your heart?" She questioned, not really realizing.

Lethe felt a sense of relief as Ishkama lifted her head and smiled. He could not comfort well, he felt too cold and alone inside.

'My eyes? Perhaps I am so sad to see you unhappy', he said, turning aside her question with an uneasy quip.

Ishkama

"Yes, Perhaps, but they were sad before. I may not know you, but I would like to help if you need me."
She had blushed again at his words. " What was I thinking?" She thought to herself.

"All you need to do is ask." She told him, smiling warmly.

Fern

The maid brought me to a large room. It had a a raised wooden floor. There were several baths formed from large tuns which had been sawn in half lengthwise and fixed with skillful carpentry into the raised floor.

The maid led me to one of the baths which was filled nearly 3/4 full with hot steaming water.

After helping me with my armor she indicated some clean linen to dry on after I had finished and ask me if there was any thing I needed. 'Thankyou, no I'll be just fine', I smiled and gave the girl a couple of copper pieces.

I scavenged around in my back pack for my herbal kit and pulled out some dried chamomile and lavender heads crushing them with my hands and stirring them into the hot water.

Removing the poultice that Abraxas had mad for me and placing it on a stoll nearby I strip and climb into the tub.

Bliss, the feel of hot water, tingled and soothed my road weary body. Letting my hair down I dipped my head under the water soaking it and then brought it back up laying back in the water and soaping my body with one of the herbal and waxoil soap bars I had picked up in Wheloon on our way to Fairhaven.

As I lay there soaping my hair, the herbs relaxing me and soothing my skin as I rubbed the weeks of grim from them that the casual washing had refused to budge I had the urge to sing some old Daleland lays.

Splashing and singing I hardly noticed the knock on the door.

'hmm I wonder who that is', I decided to ignore it and continued with my own self indulgence having sudsed my breasts I lost grip of the the soap and it slid over my stomach and down between my legs. A naughty smile crosses my face as it lodged there.

Ishkama

The silence getting unbarable, she knocks again on the door. "I hope she is ok in there. I would hate to break down the door if she doesn't answer to check on her." She tells Lethe.

Fern

There was another knock on the door.

'Oh bother', I say to myself, 'The first chance I get for some quality peace and solitude and someone has to go hammering on the door'.

'GO AWAY. I'M BUSY', I call out.

I groping between my legs for the soap bar, 'ooooooo, that felt good' I think to my self as the slippy bar nudges against my crotch.

Ishkama

OK, I will go away, but to let you know, at dusk we are wanted at the hame of Lord D'Arcie. Something about a dinner for the city's heroes. You might wanna dress up." Ishkama yells through the door.

Then back to Lethe, I will need to bathe as well. I can't have a Lord looking at me like this." She said guesturing to her body.

Fern

"Lord D'arcy, Sch'marcy, where does she dream up this stuff, City Heroes, like we slew the ravaging hoardes of 20 zombies', I shake my head in disbelief.

My thoughts return to much more exciting and pleasurable activities as I rub the edge of the soap stick up and down the outer folds of my pussy. 'Oh Abraxas, why did you have to leave so soon', I say softly.

The gentle aroma of the lavender fills my head and relaxes me as I slowly pleasure my self with the soap bar. Closing my eyes and sighing, 'why?'

Arlen

Arlen closed her eyes... the warm water relaxing her muscles... her scented candles filling the room with a delicate fragance... she ran her hands over her body... her smooth skin... it had beena long time since she had this time for herself... she heard a distant knock on a door... not hers luckly... she went back to caressing her body and enjoy her bath...

Ishkama

"Well, we know her answer, let's go to the next one. Supposedly Arlen is in there."

We walk to the next door and knock. While waiting on the answer, "Arlen is nicer than Fern. Fern has her eyes on Abraxas and doesn't seem to realize the rest of the party is around lots of times." She grins.

Arlen

A knock on the door... Arlen opens her eyes... I hope it is that pretty maid I saw earlier... and I hope she brings the wine I ordered... " Come in please... "

Ishkama

Telling Lethe, "You might want to stay here. I don't know how she would react to a man coming in." Ishkama opens the door and walks in.

Ishkama's mouth drops at the sight of Arlen nude. You would think that she had seen her naked before, but not like this. Her hair was wet and she was beautiful. "I, uh, I ...." She stammers forgetting what she had entered for.

Arlen

Arlen looks towards the door, expecting to see the maid walk in, instead in came Ishkama, she stood there, staring at Arlen...

" Ishkama? what are you doing here... ", Arlen remains in the water, not trying to cover her body, in fact proud that Ishkama was staring at her body...

Ishkama

"Uh, I uh......The Lord, uh, named D'Arcie, he wants us to ......be at his house by dusk. I was told to gather everyone. Also....you are so pretty." Ishkama says trying to get her bearings together, then realizing that instead of saying "Lethe would like to join" she had actually said "you are so pretty" she blushed.

Arlen

Arlen grins at Ishkama, the sight of her naked body was even morepowerful than she imagined... that was great...

" Don´t be nervous Ishkama... and I appreciate you saying I am pretty... I can get dressed of that would make you less nervous... "

Ishkama

The sight of Arlen lingers in Ishkama's mind. She would never see Arlen in the same light. "That is ok. Finish your bath, I will need a room for mine soon.....and Fern seems to be taking her time."

Fern

Finishing my bath, I climb out of the tub and pat myself dry with the linen provided by the maid. Wrapping the cloth around myself toga style I gather up my other items and head towards the door at the back of the room which the maid had indicated led directly to the lodging quarters without having to pass through the bar.

My room fortunately is one of the better ones. On the first floor looking out over the street in front of the Inn. My baggage has been delivered already and I unpack my clothes bundle, pulling out a pair of loose fitting tan swede pants and an open neck green hip length heavy cotton tunic which is nice and airy with waist hoops to secure a sash belt.

I rough dry my hair and fix it up into a bun on top of my head and secure it with two carved Elm pins in a cros fashion. The tips have been hardened by flame and make ideal improvised weapons if required.

I check my armor over for any damage and stow it beside my bed.

Picking out a pair of wooden soled strappy sandals, looking less adventurer and more local I decide now might be a good time to investigate the town, Ralek and Matt had gone of in search of the Market and provision stores I decide it might be an idea to try and find them.

I wander back down to the bar and look for Ish and Leethe assuming they had returned to the bar after knocking on my door.

Lethe stood at the corner of the long bar, studying the customers with slightly dulled attention. He was, somewhat to his surprise, enjoying the company of those he'd met, Fern and Ishkama. The curse sometimes seemed to eat at him, plastering a film of discontent over the simpler pleasures of life.

Fern approached, her face now clean and smooth, her clothes on fitting comfortably on her slim frame. Lethe smiled, for once more in fellowship than wry self-mockery.

'Enjoy your bath?'

Arlen

Arlen stands up... droplets of water running down her hair and neck, down her chest and her legs, her eyes are fixed on Ishkama...

" Well why dont you come in... Ive had enough... and you deserve a nice bath... c´mon dear... ".

Arlen walks towards Ishkama, her body still wet...

" Take of your clothes... the water is warm... and waiting... ".

Fern

Looking around the room I spot Lethe standing at the corner of the bar.

'Absolutely right', I chirp, acknowleding his question, 'I think I must have washed half the Anauroch out of my hair'

'Where's Ishkama?', I ask him,

'Not like her to leave a hunky looking guy unattended. Although she's probably fixing herself up in the restroom', I think to myself.
