Fallout: the Vault Dwellers' Story - OOC

Nothing. The door won't open at all. Nothing can until the incident. Im going to have it where an outside force messes with a system at Vault-Tec, which causes the computer to go haywire. The comouter causes all systms to malfunction (Security system kicks in with robots and turrets, oors unlock, water fails, and... the Vault door unlocks)

We should put a sign in front of it that says "Wet Floor. Caution" so nobody will go near it. Also. You didn't even comment on the birthday smex comment... It was funny.

I'm fighting my inner demons with this character. Trying to make her the perfect angel...whilst secretly wishing she'd be the biggest slut of Vault 51.

I feel right at home with Sebastian... You may be going against the grain with her but you are doing it really well. Your comments really do make me. We are a pretty good cell of people. I imagine Robert as the Diplomat, Sebastian as the analyst and local jerkface bug killer, and Grace gets to pack sandwiches and hopefully put stimpacks on our booboos. We just need a fourth... -sigh-

I'll have to keep doing what I am then!

She's going to be the needy comic relief I think, but perhaps later will surprise everyone with her diplomacy. XD

Or get raped by the waste landers because of how weak she is.

If you've ever read the Eragon books.. I imagine Sebastian being something like Roran as he becomes a warrior rather than a farmboy or a miller's assistant. If that example doesn't work then... a wetworks guy. Sebastian will kill to make sure nobody gets raped... lol

The reason for my guys comment about your characters laguage is because, in the Vaults, cursing, swearing, cussing, etc. was bad.

But we're alone, and young adults. It's nice like the overseer is standing right behind us... *peeks over his shoulder* We say bad words. Sebastian isn't the sort to adhere to every rule. Is Robert going to be our Moral compess?

It's actually an inborn thing to follow the rules. Vault dwellers knew that the world went into nuclear apocalypse becuase people thought themselves better than others, broke rules (internation laws set down by the UN) so vault dweller need to survive by followi rules and keeping a good moral. otherwise there is anarchy. If your a Fallout Historian (you played all the games [Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas; read the notes and entires on he games; studied in on the internet, etc.] you learn a lot)

Here's something interesting, the overseers were Vault-Tec employees who monitored th vaults and had free acce to leave whenever they wanted to. Of course, after everything went from bad to worst, they couldn't do it any more.)

I've only played 3 and new vegas. It just seems like sebastian would say bad words sometimes... I'm waiting for Dorm to post before i continue. What should we do next?

I played all the Fallout games and Fallout is a good video games series.

We need one more female. Any women out thee wanting to join, please do by posting your character in the OOC here and I'll check it over.

I don't know, I'm still planning for our character's escape from the Vault. The only enemies we'll encounter are the robots and a few turrets.

I think oneo f us should "come up with" a projectile weapon of some kind before we leave the vault. Since it's going to be pretty f'ing dangerous out there.. lol

There will be dead vault security guards which will have weapons. My guy can have the gun, since it would be best for him, your guy uses a melee weapon since he is muscular, and Grace freaks out and hides behind us. :D

Would be awesome if there was a sledgehammer somewhere around here.... If i could get my hands on one of those i would be a happy sebastian. ... Oh you should change Robert's equipment to having a Lil Slugger's bat, i'm taking it off my list. :D

I'm going to have Grace fall in love with one of those electroshock gauntlets at one point, just because its a less physical way of protecting herself.

And wow, any dirty minds out there will take that out of the context I wrote it in.

XD

Sorry about that. I'll post now.

Perhaps we should go ahead with the machines beginning to spazz out to kick start the thread again?

hmm... well I guess so. But It'll have to be at night, when our characters are asleep. Then I'll put up a post that acts as a narration that basically says this.

The machines hardwiring changed, reprogrammed by an unknown source. Before they, the security system, had been programmed to protect the vault dwellers. Now that was the exact opposite.

Thats a rough draft but I think about it tomorrow andonce everyones ready as well as their characters, I'll put it up.

....... OK. I'm kind of tired of this always happening where people change stuff in MY threads and decide when something happens and how it happens. I'm the one who had the plot set out and I didnt want that to happen yet. Can you next time please consult me and ask everyone else, and make sure to get my approval before deciding when a major part should come along? I'd like for you to change your post. The vault's security isn't even suppost to go haywire yet. I have to prepare the set up and descripion and see if other people want to join.

Dang... I'm glad to see you are both finally back. I was afraid this thing would be dead... I'm here. I can post as soon as i read a few posts to get myself situated. I was without internet since the 3rd my family moved across town.

I wouldn't post just yet. DormantEvil shifted the plot a little ahead of scheduale without consulting me about it and awhile for my answer.

Oh... i ... may have fixed it? Read my post and see if thats alright? We can just cout it as an old machine coughing...

Ok. I got an idea. How about one of the Vault's engineers accidentally turned off the power (Cut the wrong wire, didn't ground the right wire, bumped into the machine's turn off switch). Overseer gets a little pissed and soon everything goes back to normal.... for now.

Good idea. If you want you can write that the lights went out for you too, then ask the guy you're talking to right now about it. He'll probably have a good "guess" at what happened.
