Fantasizing About An Acquaintance

Over the past few days, I've been fantasizing on and off over an acquaintance. Feels kind of wrong as she was dating a son of a friend of mine years ago. Fast forward and now she is a mom, with a couple of kids of her own. Not as fit as in earlier years but still pleasant. The other day we randomly met at a concert (other friends where there too). We talked a little (small talk stuff). But I did check her out a bit (without anyone knowing). Well, she did have on a low cut dress that revealed some very nice cleavage so how could I not take some peeks?

One one hand, I think, go ahead have my way with a fantasy. Nobody will know. But on the other hand, it still feels inappropriate.

I'd like the hear from others who may be in a similar situation.

I guarantee it wasn't as undetectable as you think.

The other person's skill at pretending not to notice almost always exceeds the looker's skill at pretending not to look.

I regard it as a rule of thumb now that, if I'm checking someone out, they know it. So my job is to also let them be able to tell whether I want to do something about it or not.

What this comes down to is, how hard do I bother to pretend I'm not looking. You always want to do that at least a little, and most of the time you want to do it a lot.

Even if you do have the brass to plan to do something about it, you still want to appear to be pretending not to look - but you don't want to try too hard. She should be able to tell that you have the brass to not be ashamed of getting caught, and that you still have the good judgement to not just stare boldly at her and force her to react before you even test the waters with a little flirt.

And if you don't have any intention whatsoever to do anything about it, to flirt even a little or try to make it go anywhere, then, you want to look like you're really pretending not to look, so that she knows you don't really want anything to happen.
