"Don't get sick again, and run things out of the tavern," she said, shrugging. "Basically, what you normally do. I'm going to check on Bek, then probably return home and figure somethings out. Maybe visit the prisoners."

"Sure you don't need me to interrogate them?" Flish asked. "I'm pretty good at it, and I care more about results than morals."

"If there's information you want, by all means, Flish," Al'ika said, smiling. "Oh, and don't worry, they got a nice taste of blue magic last night."

"I can't wait to hear about it from Jester," he said. "Well, off to the jail." He left quickly with a wicked little grin on his face.

She chuckled and after putting on a dress and cloak, made her way to Father Hallowbrook's. "How is he?" she asked him softly, kissing his cheek.

"He's much better now, bur won't be back to full duty for another few days," Hallowbrook said. "He's lucky you listened to all my herbalism lectures."

"You know I take herbalism seriously, Father, those herbs have saved my life countless of times," Al'ika said, smiling.

She walked over and smiled at Bek. "Hey. How are you feeling?" she asked.

Al'ika smiled and pulled out a loaf of bread, some cheese, and some meat for him, as well as a flagon of juice. "I knew you would be saying that," she said, handing it to him.

Al'ika smiled and gently kissed his forehead. "I'll leave you be, for now," she said. She left and made her way over to Edioz's. "I've come to get my armor, my good man," she said.

Edioz handed her the freshly repaired set. "I hope you won't need it for too much longer," the old dwarf said. "Is there anything more I can do to help?"

Al'ika shook her head, smiling as she held her armor. "Not that I can think of, my friend," she said. She went over and kissed the old dwarf's cheek. "You know where to find me if you need me." She left and made her way over to the tavern and slide in next to Jester. "Anything new to report?" she asked.

"Well some goblins tried to get in through the tunnel last night, but it was well guarded and they didn't make it far. Aside from that, it's been quiet." He said. Screams came from the jail. "You sent Flish, didn't you?" he asked.

"I told Flish he could do whatever he wanted," Al'ika corrected him. "I had other errands to run, other things to do."

"He knows how to behave," Al'ika said. "Or at least, he used to. But, if need be, I can reign the marshmallow in."

Flish was standing over the youngest one, his hand splayed on the table with little nicks over it.Flish was holding a knife and jabbing it into the gaps between the man's fingers swftly.

Al'ika stood and watched for a moment, an amused smile on his face. "Hmm, I guess it's not branding after all," she said, walking over to him and hugging him. "Scaring the most cooperative of the little ragtag band we picked up, hmm?"

"Wait, he cooperated? now I feel bad." he said. "Take him back to his cell and give him real food," he told the other jailers. "I take it there are methods you don't want me using?"
