Farewell, AWonkyDonkey

One of our own, @AWonkyDonkey passed away on the 27th after extended illness. He hadn’t been as active here lately, but he had a lot of people here who cared about him. He was a great person and a great friend, fiercely loyal, and one who stood up for the people he cared about.

Taking a look at his last post here is very sad… For me, I’m going to reflect on that as a reminder to be present and to make sure that the people I love know it and feel it.

Farewell, Wonky. It was really nice knowing you and I’m so glad we met here.

He was a great friend to me, and we had met up a few times for drinks and chats.

He had his health issues and demons. And wasn't perfect, as no-one is. And he went through a lot in his short life.

So, if you're able, or willing, please raise a glass to him this evening.

Omg, this is shocking and so sad. I knew he was ill and I know he and Sassy were close and I hope they are enjoying a good time together. He and I were closer when I was new and he had such a good sense of humor.

I didn't know him, but it's clear he was loved here. I believe that love follows you to the next life.

That's very sad, I didn't know him but I hope he is at peace now. I'm sure he was an amazing person and that he will be missed The amount of love that is expressed on this thread certainly shows how much people thought of him.

ToPleaseHim I am very sorry for your loss. I now you know this already, but the is forum is filled with kind and caring people who you can reach out to if you need support.

I know we don't know each other, but if you ever need someone to listen as during your grief, just let me know.
