Farewell, AWonkyDonkey

One of our own, @AWonkyDonkey passed away on the 27th after extended illness. He hadn’t been as active here lately, but he had a lot of people here who cared about him. He was a great person and a great friend, fiercely loyal, and one who stood up for the people he cared about.

Taking a look at his last post here is very sad… For me, I’m going to reflect on that as a reminder to be present and to make sure that the people I love know it and feel it.

Farewell, Wonky. It was really nice knowing you and I’m so glad we met here.

He was a great friend to me, and we had met up a few times for drinks and chats.

He had his health issues and demons. And wasn't perfect, as no-one is. And he went through a lot in his short life.

So, if you're able, or willing, please raise a glass to him this evening.

Omg, this is shocking and so sad. I knew he was ill and I know he and Sassy were close and I hope they are enjoying a good time together. He and I were closer when I was new and he had such a good sense of humor.

I didn't know him, but it's clear he was loved here. I believe that love follows you to the next life.
