I just got a call from his best friend. My Master lost his fight with life tonight. We didn't know he had Cancer, as well. In a way, I had already said goodbye because the man I knew and loved was gone. I didn't think it would hit me so hard. I can't go to the funeral but I'm sending his friend something to read for me.

I was talking to a friend on Yahoo last night. He'd asked me if I'd given up on love. I told him I had until I met my Master. He opened up my heart again to love. I'll be forever greatful. He showed me what true love was for the first time in my life. It was a brief, but very strong love. I'll never forget him and I'll always love him.

Just saw this and wanted to say I am deeply sorry for your loss and I wish I could give you a huge hug. Just know I am thinking of you and hugging you from a distance.

There have been a lot of comforting words put here. Again, I am touched by everyone's kindness and thoughtfulness. Who would think simple words on a page could have such an effect? But the do. And I thank you all
