By just thinking of this topic and reading all the replies, I now have all these horrid songs rattling around in my head. I'll be singing them all night now. Thanks a lot!

Since misery loves company, I will hunt you down, tie you to Muff's rollbar and sing these songs over and over. Trust me, hearing my singing voice is the ultimate torture!

Everyone feel free to join in the singing (I know you all are ready to throttle him for raising this subject and making you hum all these annoying songs!)

My personal cringe list which I will now be performing:

- Puff the Magic Fucking Dragon
- The fucking Brady Bunch theme song
- I'm a fucking little teapot AKA the fucking Jeopardy theme song.

Take it easy people, a song can't be worth all this aggro!
Popular songs are meant for lots of people to like, so they have to be targetted pretty low.
Has anybody tried to write a Hit?
Bet you can't come anywhere near "Everything I Do" or "It's in his Kiss". You have got to salute "Stand by Your Man". It's utterly stupid, only has one Rhyme all the way through (man & understand) but it gets through to people.
No parodies- they are too easy! No Rap either- they make it up as they go along.
We have good writers on the board and poets too, but I promise you, this is hard. Have a go, and then look at the songs you waste your hatred on, an learn something.
Hate is always a waste.
