FBI announces expanded Kavanaugh probe

WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI is dramatically widening the scope of its investigation into Brett Kavanaugh thanks to new information provided by Christine Blasey Ford, the Associated Press has learned.
Ford, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh of attempted sexual assault decades ago when both were teens, has added new details to her previously incomplete account. While she cannot provide a year or a location, Ford has told investigators she is confident the attack, which left her fearing for her life, "probably occurred in a bedroom" in Bethesda, Maryland, no later than 1983.
Armed with that information, the FBI on Friday night started the process of filing for search warrants in all homes known to exist in the Washington bedroom community before 1985. Data was provided by assessor records.
"We're drawing in our forensic teams from all over the country," FBI spokesman Don Feinstein said. "If this Kavanaugh fellow left a clue, we'll find it. Hell, even if he didn't, we're going to nail his butt."

This bit of ridiculousness prompted a search of the AP by you. I get that you are partisan and want to believe a woman despite absolutely no evidence to back her story, and that includes no corroborating witnesses. Lots of people believe her at the expense of what I believe is an honorable man. Innocent until proven guilty has been turned on its head.
But seriously, you are dumb as a fucking box of rocks if you think there is a Father Bruce LISPinsky and he is quoted in a story as "polishing peters."

I had a relative swear to me that when her husband died Jesus showed in the light thru the window and told her to go to Disney World. This is not satire. She repeated the story often and truly believed it. I suspect many of you know someone like that.

Her story has so many missing details I can't vote guilty on her word. I don't remember how or why I got there. How I left. How old I was.

If you want to reply to this please address how you would react to an accuser of you with that story.

One word, cupcake: pizzagate.

Well, I admit I thought a lot about the pizzagate conspiracy when we learned that a child porn and child sex trafficking ring was being run by (“out of,” if you prefer, just because the Pope didn’t know about it) the Cathloic fucking Church in Pittsburg. If such a horrible thing were possible, could I empathize with people believing pizzagate?

And I decided on the difference: the Pittsburg Catholic Church Child Sex ring allegations we made to the authorities, investigated using empirical methodology, presented to a legal fact-finding body that make objective judgement.

So, no, I do not empathize with pizzagate believers, beyond understanding their magical, non-critical thinking, fallacious mentality, and that society failed them (and itself) when their minds were plastic and turned them into dupes.
