The problem is not the quiet car it's the pedestrians that don't follow the simplest rule: look left, look right, look left again before you cross. I have seen people just step off the curb without looking and say they have the right of way. Who's going to win the 150-200 lbs pedestrian or the 3000-4000 lbs. car?

I tried that in manhattan once.. the guy ran over my shoes.. I don't think pedestrians have right of way in new york.. lol
