I'm not clever enough to come up with a witty response to each post, so I'll share a little bit that shocked me. The change in my last name didn't phase me at all, however the other day someone referred to me as Mrs. and I looked at Raph and said, "What? I'm not old enough to be a Mrs., am I?!?"

I missed seeing this for a whole week somehow! Knew you guys were together but didn't know this! Are you still finding yourselves surprised at yourselves? I did that little "Hey whats with this ring?" thing for years Seriously, welcome to your new adventure.

The other thing I hope you never lose raphy (I still haven't) is when you look at her out of the corner of your eye and say to yourself, "Damn, I did something right after all."

Well, I haven't lost it yet, Belegon .. She still has the power to render me speechless by doing absolutely nothing. I'll be watching her perform some mundane task .. I dunno, like changing the tape in the VCR or watching TV or kneeling down petting the dog .. And she'll turn and look at me with this cute puzzled furrowed-brow look on her face and she'll say "What? What did I do? Why are you staring at me like that?"

And I'll just smile and shake my head and say "Nothing. You didn't do anything. I just love you. That's all."

As for the shock and surprise - There's been none, at least for me. I know she's been getting used to being a Mrs, but for me - I feel no different today than I did before we were married. It didn't make me love her any more. I do that every day anyway. It didn't change anything in the way I feel about her.

It doesn't feel any different. It just feels right.
