California Liberals want guns banned. So they enact Red Flag laws. Then declare the NRA a terrorist organization so they can confiscate guns from people who have never done anything wrong. Liberal gun control at its underhanded best.
 
The NRA is a staunch proponent of exercising our Constitutional Rights as delineated in the 2nd amendment. If you call the NRA a "terrorist organization", you must be somehow opposed to the 2nd amendment. If not, I am pleased that you support all of our Constitutional Rights. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Gun sales surge 15%, driven by self-protection and Pelosi-Schumer demand for limits.

The leading indicator of gun sales jumped in August, driven in part by Americans seeking self-protection and deep concerns congressional Democrats are going to push through expanded gun control legislation.

The overall number of background checks recorded in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System surged 15.5%, said the National Shooting Sports Foundation. That figure includes background checks done for security, concealed carry permits, and gun sales and was the highest August number ever recorded.

The industry group said that August FBI background checks adjusted for sales surged 15.2% over August 2018. The adjusted August number was second only to August 2016 during the heated presidential election.

The new surge came in the wake of heightened pressure for gun control, sales bans on military-styled rifles, and limits on ammo following a spike in mass shootings.

I DID answer your question. Go back to the last page and look right below where you asked the first time.

Women are not required by law to register for Selective Service like men are. They got their right to equality but didn't take the equal responsibility.

Now, the next time you want to call me names like a an 6 yr old, know what the fuck you're talking about.

So you're saying you didn't register for Selective Service? Failure to do so is a criminal offense.
 
This is good, I'm learning. So what is selective service? And what is its direct relationship to the well ordered militia as envisaged in the bill of rights? And does that mean that women don't have a constitutional right to own a flintlock?
 
Selective Service is the official name for "The Draft". By an act of Congress only, people registered for Selective service may be randomly called up to fight. Sort of like conscription in many countries though we have not called upon the Draft since the early 70s.

And I'm surprised that they have to purchase their own guns. I thought with the amount of money your military spends they would be able to provide a rifle.

It is the militia because it is a government sanctioned program to have a reserve of soldiers who are not enlisted but can be called to duty at any time. As they are civilians they cannot be issued government firearms. If the Gov DID privide rifles they would be the standard issue fully automatic AR15 and that would cause the Liberals heads to explode.
