Find a story

If I wanted to find a story, where is a good place to try? I remember very little about it. I have already tried searching here and with Google. Last hope is saved lists, but I doubt it's there since most of the time I don't bother to log in. If anyone wants to try and help me, I'll edit this or pm you what little I remember.
