Erika Miller was always the friend never the it girl. She was exactly a bombshell but she thought she was pretty enough to get by. She had a cute face, had a sense of humor and was pretty smart. But all the guys she ever had interest in never found her attractive. She had to admit, she was a bit on the nerdy side. Instead of partying like most twenty somethings her age, she found herself just wanting to relax by a fire and read the latest crime novel.
She occasionally visited a particular website where guys would message her, wanting to know how kinky she was. She deleted those messages. She didn't want some romance but she appreciated a man who could have a conversation that wasn't all about sex, even over the internet.
She got a message from a guy and two had been messaging each other back and forth. Their exchange was often flirty, sometimes sexual but not always. He was older than her but she appreciated his conversation. They had been exchanging emails lately but the emails were far and few between. She figured he was busy with his life and she was busy with her own life too.
