Investigated!!! His felony tax evasion was a prima facie case that could have been charged, prosecuted and convicted within 6 months. Weiss didn't investigate and charge because the million dollars of owed taxes would have led to the source of income and it's distribution.

The FBI and IRS could have penetrated these LLC shell companies married up with SARs which would have led right to the *big guy*. Couldn't have that, resist, obstruct at all cost. Let felony charges outrun the statute of limitations. Craft a plea deal that if not challenged by a judge would have granted unlimited immunity which would have shut the door on any further investigation of the Biden crime family. Maybe if the FBI, IRS and the US attorney's office pursued the evidence as passionately as they pursue Trump, well, just saying. Equal application of the law.

I don’t think DeSantis helped himself last night. He struggled with the questions about Trump and Ukraine, and dodged the abortion question entirely. Nikki Haley did better than I expected and probably boosted herself a bit. Tim Scott might have as well. The audience benefited from Trump’s absence. It was a lively debate that covered substantive issues and at times took the candidates off script.

Substance… wow. You call if substance and I call it a shit show. There really isn’t much more of a clarification of where anyone stands other than Mike is firmly good with the Lord, Vivek will sell you anything he can, Ron just looked small, the guy from Dakota— how did he buy himself into this stage? Nikki had some good upside but still took a few swings she didn’t need. Tim, had some good things and then still tried to kiss ass.

Asa and Chris seemed to be the only check on what was happening out there- the moderators surely didn’t have the handle on it.

But the MAGA crowd does love for people to yell back and forth - that’s all they understand. Whoever can yell the loudest must be right- at least that is how the Cheeto plays it.

I didn't think that was such a bad move in a Republican debate (no question which party Thatcher would have belonged to if she'd been born on the other side of the Atlantic, after all). What I do think was a misstep was the particular quote she used. The Republicans do not want feminism in their mix, end of story.
