Well friends, we find ourselves a little torn at the moment. We have had a great time posting our pictures here at Lit. We have made some good friends, had some great sex, and found a new side to ourselves that we never knew existed.

Some things have happened recently that have kinda changed our view a little bit. We realize that this is an adult site and some weirdness is always bound to happen. But we have had our pictures taken and used by others to mis-represent themselves. Had them posted on other threads with people claiming them their own, we also recently saw an attack in another thread on two people who we know are not deserving of any verbal assault like that. Most recently the Sexiest Lit Girl thread popped up and that goes against everything we thought the am-pics section was about. Cassidy and I pretty much ignored the thread, but our good friend Stephanie didnt and because of it requested her pictures with us be taken down. We posted in that thread that if we wanted to be involved in a "Hot or Not" rating type site, we would be. It seems that most people agreed with us but still that thread keeps getting bumped. We feel that this is only a bad idea. Regardless of whether we (or anyone else) win or lose, someone must lose in that type of situation and this is not what posting here is all about. At least to us. We came here to find like minded people not find out if we are the "hottest".

Anyhow we have decided to take down our pictures for the time being. This is not to say we wont be back or we wont be posting anymore pictures. Who knows we might start a brand new thread tomorrow. But for the moment we feel it is best to step away and take a break. We will certainly be checking in, so this isnt a goodbye, just a temporary leave of absence. We want to thank EVERYONE that has stopped by and said hello, or just taken a glance at our pics. We have had the best time being here and sharing with all of you!

A view from a world away

Many of you know for the past almost 4 months I have been on assignment, here in the desert lands. When you live, daily, in a repressive and morally skewed atmosphere, you really realize how wonderful, unique and precious our freedoms are, there back at home. No NOT the freedom to have porn, but the freedom to exchnage idea's, pictures of what really pleases us and our most intimate feelings, fears and yes desires without having to worry that some government (political or religious) is going to knock down our door. Many of the ladies of Lit have created the one joy I can count on, in a place where even looking at a woman and wondering how she would feel close in your arms, can cause a riot.

This is such a shame.
