Flirting with Jennifer

Being that it is being hypothesized that I maybe stole pictures from holy devil, I have a question for y'all regarding what constitutes stealing pictures ...

If there is a thread, say entitled Wicked Pictures, and to post a contribution to such a thread, I copy a link to a picture posted elsewhere, in this example, let's say a picture posted by 1hotbabe from vetteman's thread, and I then post that url in the other thread, causing the effect of this ...

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-11/1225544/photo100.jpg

... did posting the link, ergo picture, constitute my stealing the picture?

If it is not you and/or you did not take the picture and/or you do not have the permission of the photographer or the people in the photo yes you are stealing the picture.

So by your thought, anybody that reposts any link to a picture on the net, without permission, is committing theft?

I disagree with that assertion, btw. What I just did a moment ago with that picture from vetteman's thread, was post a url "link" and posted it in such a manner as to allow the photo at the end of the link to be displayed. I did not in any way take illegal possession of the picture into my person. I defy anybody to demonstrate how an actual theft occurred.

Hummmm so when you coppied the way to the picture you did not copy the picture therefore you did not steal it -------is that your thinking?

Oh please...

If that's all you did then why did you delete all of your posts *here* early this morning?

How did you think people would react when they found out that you pretended to be her for 2 years?

Did you think people wouldn't laugh and gawk?

Come on... Stop trying to play the victim role, it's pathetic...

Although you are good at role-playing, aren't you? :D

In the above example, yes, that is my thinking. I went to a public internet forum and reposted a link that is already posted. I do see theft in such action. To draw an anology, I would liken what I just did as being the same thing as me reading a magazing, calling over a person beside me and then showing them the picture in the magazine.

I have taken you off ignore and thus will answer you.

What I did this morning was to delete the err in my ways of misrepresenting myself through the use of JannK's pictures, at the jana forum. Is it so horrible that I would try to edit my posts there to as best I can delete my misrepresentations? JannK asked me to stop using her pictures and I told her that I would. I have done as best I can to delete them wherever I had previously posted them.

Y'all chastise me, rightfully so, for my misrepresenting myself as I did, but now y'all chastise me for editing those posts to end my misrepresentations. Truly ridiculous y'all have become.

I do not make myself out as being a victim. Rather, I call trolls like you for the trolls that you are. None of what goes on now is about me, it's all about people like you maliciously attacking every chance you get.

I will ask you again, please take your hate mongering elsewhere.

sp....there is a thread for these questions....but in a nutshell....how do you discern truth on the internet?.....and does the truth really matter in a world of fantasy?

No, but it can be funny.

No, it's not stealing. In fact, many book stores actually have lounging chairs where the customers are encouraged to take a book and peruse it. If a particular book store asks you not to read it without buying it, though, then at that point you would be obliged to stop.
