Do all women y'all know talk in a feminine, "flowery" Manner?

Could it be that my manner of speech (or chat) is a reflection of the business environment that I work in and largely communicate in? And mayhaps also a reflection of being married to a business lawyer? Perhaps flowery feminie speech might also be a cultural difference between, say, North America, Europe, and even Asia?

Is it really problematic that I don't bother talking about my hair and manicure appointments and other spa treatments?

Is it ridiculous that a woman might have certain opinions about industry, economics, and politics? Would not an interest in such reflect an education in commerce and an upbringing in an industrialist family?

Is it only men that can have interest in sports (even if that interest is primarily tennis)?

I guess for some people, stereotypes of women just will not let go. I find it especially sad when such stereotyping come from allegedly liberated women. Sadly, though, such stereotyping is as evident here at Lit as it is in real life, as I have experienced in dealing with the good'ol boys business club of Texas.
