Florida man receives 8 months in prison, first Jan 6 defendant sentenced

It wasn't legal because the accused wasn't President any longer.

I'll admit that I had forgotten that...it makes the whole proceeding even more of a farce...trying to remove from office a man who was no longer in office.

They addressed that by voting that it was legal.Thats why they had the trial.
Certainly they used that argument not to convict, but the.legality of the trial was confirmed.

This is hilarious. They built a gallows??? Hahahahahaha!!

I would say that this is the opposite of funny.

Or which lie will you fall back on ...?

Yes. You asked if Trump was prosecuted for 1/6. He was, by Congress.

Since you didn’t know about the gallows, I figured you were ignorant of the second impeachment.

It may surprise you to learn that impeachment is a political process for the sole purpose of removing an official from office. But you probably do know that both of the House efforts resulted in acquittals. 😂 President Trump has not been subject to criminal prosecution in any court of law for anything related to 1/6, and the Biden Administration has done nothing to indicate its DOJ will even try.

Someone with zero carpentry skills made that. You probably couldn't even hang your laundry on that on a windy day.
