Food for thought.

The developed world relies on fossil fuels to maintain their standard of living. The developing world aspires to that standard of living. Those in the developed world will never accept a decline in that standard of living, and those in the developing world will never accept limitations on their growth.

The problem isn't the use of fossil fuels - it's too many people. 8 billion people currently infest the surface of the Earth and all of them want nice things.

And I've never really heard why climate change is a bad thing. Life on Earth has always flourished when the temperature was higher than it is now. Obviously there will be populations that are in danger from various forces of nature, but there will also be populations that will see opportunity. Humans are a cancer that will survive.

how to say i don't have a family legacy without saying i don't have a family legacy.

The problem is both, not one or the other...
And I've never really heard why climate change is a bad thing.
Then you need to get out more.
Life on Earth has always flourished when the temperature was higher than it is now.
Has it? Life has existed, and even flourished, but Humans for the most part didn't exist in the previous climate swings. The past performance is a not guaranty for the future.
Obviously there will be populations that are in danger from various forces of nature, but there will also be populations that will see opportunity.
Yep, I wonder what all those people who live in the mountains will be selling land for to those beach dwellers when their home have floated away...
Humans are a cancer that will survive.
You have more faith than me.
