i make a tomato raita. the greek yogurt is great for this, btw.

i have no idea of proportions, so i'm going to guess. i like a lot of 'maters in my raita so i'd guess a pound per quart? with the cherry tomatoes, quarter them and add to yogurt. add one finely diced jalapeno per quart of yogurt (i like more bite so i'll often add two). about a tsp each coriander and turmeric, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cumin. heat a couple of tbsps of oil in a small pan just below the smoke point. add 3-4 tbsp black mustard seed and saute until the seeds pop and turn gray. you can add the jalapenos to this mix or mix them directly into the raita, depending on how much you like the jalapeno flavor (putting them in the oil will give you a more pervasive jalapeno flavor). mix into the yogurt concoction, salt to taste.

i'll make a meal of this and a nice bread in the summer.

I did a search and found them on line here...

BUT, I noticed that it said Theatre Box size...so I bet that you could find them at the movies. Of course you will probably pay your child's first year college education tuition for them...but still.;)

Argh! They have removed the green ones out of the Runts! Now I have to think of a different way to make peas and carrots cupcakes.

I love tomato raita, but this variation sounds especially mouthwatering. Loving the pan roasted mustard seeds and jalapeños. Good stuff, A!

...

Also, I will make that tomato cobbler someday. I've loved that recipe since the moment I saw it.

Actually, that kind of looks like a lop-eared devil-clown...

Which all works, except for the clown part.

I keep looking for jobs or scholarships to graduate programs in Atlanta because I will marry Alton Brown, one day.

I am making the Tomato Cobbler, this evening! I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

You have good taste. My Kitchen Aid flame decals should be delivered this week so I'll feel closer to Alton, then. ;)
