For fun: If a Lit author was a MC in one of your stories, what would be their (mis)adventure?

I did this in Tales of my slutty sister. The MC had it bad for his older sister and for catharsis writing stories about the two of them on lit where their roles are reversed and she's a dumb bimbo always in trouble and he's the good one and makes her have sex with him so he'll cover for her.

Then of course sis finds the stories....

@bestkeptsecret678 and I wrote a story using each other/ourselves as MCs and there were some elements of us in our characters. Me, more so than him given my indifference to someone here finding me IRL and his need for secrecy.

As I've said before, most of my stories utilize myself to some degree as the MC - my experiences, my hometown, men I've interacted with in my life, including some Litsters, present and past.

Opened it up. Looks hot.

So, if you wrote about a (fictional) Lit author/smut writer what would be their story?

I literally just wrote Pornville, where "amateur erotica writer" Todd Everman wakes up trapped in the world of his own porn stories.

Along with his wife, because he modeled a few female characters off of her.

Living out his sexual fantasies isn't exactly what he expected. Especially when his wife finds out what she has to do to finish one story in particular.

I like your idea as it seems very fun, but there is a slight problem with that. I am not sure how many of our AH fellows would love being portrayed as an MC in some of our fantasy scenarios, no matter how briefly we outlined them here. I can bet that our female members would get fixated in an overwhelming majority of these brief fantasies, so I kinda feel uncomfortable about writing even a short outline without their explicit consent. There are some members here with whom I often exchange some banter so I could likely come up with something that hits the spot, but again, not without consent. :)

My story The Devil And Angel Em came about through a direct collaboration with @EmilyMiller.

In that story, the main female character is indeed named Emily.

This was done with express permission from Em, of course.

But I wish to clarify that the character I wrote was based on a CHARACTER that she created, not the REAL Emily.

Em has used a CHARACTER "Emily" throughout her stories, and my work was based on that CHARACTER.

I absolutely agree it's probably not a good idea for any of us to go around writing stories about, or that include, another author here without their consent.

Or to "borrow" any of their characters without permission.

I do feature characters based on famous people in my writing often, also characters based on people I know. If I know them personally and am in touch with them, I get their permission or make the character so amalgamated it’s unclear on whom it is based. I also ask all readers of my stories to consider them fictional, part of a parallel universe resembling reality as designed by the author at best. I ask everyone to respect my often satirical opinions. Hope everyone else follows suit.

Such possibilities... denizens of the Author's Hangout invited to an awards night in a castle... the owners have to lay on extra catering because some of us would turn up to the opening of an envelope. It's dark, stormy, wine-fueled, and then a body is discovered. Who did it? @seraph_nocturne in the Billiard Room with the foot-long love truncheon? @djrip in the Library with a thousand paper cuts? Or, sitting quietly in the back, @onehitwanda... the master bedroom... snu snu...?

I'm tempted to give @Duleigh a cameo in a scene from my Barstow series. He and I share a niche hobby IRL, and the original Barstow trilogy featured E&V adventures based on my hobby knowledge.

D, what do you think about the idea that the fourple spends a weekend in Folkston? ;)

And for the real question... whose body is it...

People do say I’m a bit of a CHARACTER 😉.

I think you know who the body is. After that last story of yours, you probably have a BTB fan or two looking for settlement :)
Probably more than one or two, but I thought that was an AH party. Then again, there could be some AHers moonlighting as BTB anons in the wee hours of the night when nobody is watching...
