Hello everyone,
For those of you who come to Literotica for its erotic stories, there is something I'd like to share with you to help choose which story to read. They are called Story Tags and evidently, not everyone knows they exist or how they can be used.
For those of you who are well versed with the story tags, thank you. I am posting this as there are authors in the Hang Out who feel like a fair percentage of readers don't know they exist.
Wise authors who post their creations here on Lit, also include tags in order to make their stories easier to find. The tags help potential readers find their story while searching, and also can help a potential reader decide on whether or not to read the story in the first place. A writer can also include a tag or two that would showcase a possible kink or two that might even turn someone away. That way, a person wouldn't spend the time reading a story before they reach a point where they get turned off due to a kink they don't enjoy.
Now, the site could make these more obvious and some writers have heard from people who didn't know tags were available to use. So hopefully, this post will help. Unfortunately, there are some writers who don't know either and don't use tags when they publish their stories. So this post if for them as well.
My first image below shows the most obvious tags, when you are looking at the page of authors works. This is a recently new change. Tags are not pre-determined by Lit, its up to each author to decide on their own tags.

When you go directly into a story from a different direction than the authors page, you can still view the tags, as seen below.

Then, when you click on the Tag icon, they will open up and you'll see this.
