Forum bug - login state not persisting

I’m logged into the forum. When I navigate to another (not lit) page and then return to the forum, the system shows an error that I’m not logged in, even though I am. I have to click through multiple forum topics before the site recognizes that my login is still valid. The frequency of this bug has been increasing. On Mobile. Chrome browser.

Steps to Reproduce

1. I log into the forum successfully.
2. I go to another page outside the forum.
3. I return to the forum.
4. The forum displays an error indicating I’m not logged in.
5. I click several topics in the forum.
6. Eventually, the system updates and recognizes that I’m logged in.

Expected Result

When I return to the forum, my login state remains valid and the “not logged in” error does not appear.

Actual Result

After leaving and coming back, the forum incorrectly indicates that I’m logged out, and I have to interact with multiple topics for the session state to correct itself.

I've had a similar problem in the distant past, and got it again a couple of days ago because I had to let DuckDuckGo burn all my cookies/logins in order to fix a problem on an unrelated site. When i got to here, it took some frustrating back-and-forth for the site to work out whether I was or wasn't securely logged in. Not a big problem, but there is a small problem that not all parts of the site know, or remember, that you have in fact just logged back in.

Glad you got your issue fixed, it does not apply to me or the others who have reported the same bug (session state bug).

FWIW, I do a complete browser clean up everyday. Chrome with google as search engine - android.

I've also experienced this issue with my Amazon 8 HD tablet, silk browser, google search engine

I noticed the same bug today using my Windows laptop (edge browser, Bing search engine)

Happens to me multiple times a day. Been going on for quite a while.

If I just click on What's New or Forums [shown below], then it shows me as logged in again and I can continue with my forum browsing.

I get this really bad on Android mobile and occasionally on Chrome.

I log in and it kicks me back to my Activity page but then when I go back to the forum, it shows I'm not logged in. This cycle will just repeat, sometimes endlessly, until I click through several threads then suddenly, and randomly, it will show me logged in.
