From My Shadowy Id ...

I love all your shots H&H, I have a suggestion though.
Next time you do a photo shoot, hit the florist shop, buy some large leaves and use them as you may. Remember the picture I sent you? I think those leaves will be pretty accessible in your area. Would love to see your take on the sketch I drew.

The billiard shot and the first one of ashlee are tops, difficulty and just straight up HOT!

Thank you, sweetie. I'm shooting pretty much every weekend and during the week, so I should be able to work in your idea pretty easily.

Hope all is well. :)

Cealy, I still haven't forgotten your request. I got a hold of some silk leaves that I think will be good for the concept and I'll hopefully be shooting it soon. I'm having knee surgery in the not-too-distant future so I'm trying to get a lot of things done before then. :)

Until then, this is from a shoot this last weekend. I was given access to a guitar vault containing several million $$$ in vintage and collector's guitars. This is the only place I'm posting this one as it's part of a much larger project that I'm hoping to publish. You're the only people I'm sharing it with for now cuz I wuuuuuv yooooouuu. :rose:

I really like the wolf! Those eyes are so intense. The guitar pic is really well done, you should be proud. Good luck with the surgery:)

I am very happy with the guitar pic ... cute pun ... I actually did two of those with my model in a different pose in the other shot. I'm really happy with all the popping colors.

The wolf is fun. Too bad it was dead.

Salvor, the new website is almost ready. The Ashlee photos will be up and available in print and through e-mail individually. Shouldn't be too much longer ...

The site still needs a lot of work, but it's viewable. The Ashlee photos aren't up yet due to me having a couple billion things to do each hour of every day right now, plus recouping from knee surgery ... again.

Here's the site:

H-n-H

I hope you know that I am a fan of your work, my fascination with the ashlee photos besides the point, so I'll critique the page more so than the photos which I am deeply impressed with.

I like that you have the main viewing section looking like a "larger than life" gallery, with viewers along the bottom edge. It emphasizes that your work is art not just vanity. The black background makes the photos much easier to view and the selections for groping is superb. Your skill for photogrpahy is impressive, and if you did the site yourself, then your skill as a designer is an equal match. Kudos to you on both counts.

Your words are very humbling. Thank you kindly. I cannot, however, take all that much credit for the website design. It starts out as a template, and then you either modify it on your own or you hire someone to do the mods for you. My wife has been mulling through the modification and I've just been loading the photos. Where I'm artistically minded she's very technically minded and has been picking up on the logistics of the flash and HTML programming very naturally ... for the most part :D

Thank you again and keep checking the site. I should be getting the best of the Ashlee suggested, partial and full nudes up within the next week or so

:rose: Peace everyone, and Happy Independence Day!!!:rose:

Thank you kindly. I wish that particular girl was as beautiful on the inside ... but that's a whole different story

For you, sweet Catalina ... :rose:

LOL, the beauty of such work is you can create the illusion, while still knowing the reality that remains hidden from the eyes of others.:)

Ok, so I'm going to be photographing a newly formed band here locally. They're metal and the sample track they slipped to me, though unrefined, was really good. The name of the band is "Moorhound" taken from an old English legend about a demonic dog terrorizing a particular township in old Britain.

Admittedly I'm bringing this up for much more selfish reasons than to promote the band.

While listening to the sample track I up-n-got inspired to sketch out something related to the band's legendary namesake ...

Nice and scary. I like it.

How come you made the blitz green? Any particular reason?

As for the hound, that would be a relative of the Hound of the Baskervilles, I'd say.

:D

[threadjack] Is that you, yogi? *drool* [/threadjack]

In the legend of this hound the eyes glowed green. I've never been fond of the ways that a lot of artists portrayed things that glowed, so I borrowed from the style of Todd MacFarlane's "Spawn" artistry. It's just cooler that way :D
