From the Stockyards: A Cowpoke's Story

"3:30 AM? Time for me to hit the dusty trail." Ish said to himself, loading up the horse in the trailer in his trusty Ford F-250 Farm Truck, smiling to himself before he took a sip of coffee from his red thermos. As much as he was a regular ranch hand, he was also a divorced man with a half a million dollar ranch investment in his name. Roseblazer Ramhead Ranch was his bread and butter. He didn't have a wife since they divorced a while ago, so he handled working and cooking his meals alone.

He drives to the dusty road where he was meeting other ranch hand heads who work their own solo projects to drive their cattle through the Olde Dusty Trail path. "Ramhead Road". "Morning Ish." The oldest man said to him. "Tyler, Jim. I assume we have a few things to handle." Ish told the oldest man, Jim. Who rode with the other two. "Ah, but I have my newest ranch hand to help us out to make this work go a little quicker." Jim said, where a young man comes in. "Dustin, round up the cattle and lead them through this path."

Tyler, who also had his own ranch hand, which was also his niece, Jenna. "Jenna, let's go with leading the other cattle down the path. Hya!" Tyler and his niece rode down the trail. However, Ish was a loner. He didn't have a ranch hand or help like he did before. He started to ride the other cattle down the end since he was the tail end of the operation. A few hours into the path going through the trail, Ish and company ride down the path to lead their cattle over to the Dixie Stockyards which they held auctions every Tuesday. He got off his horse and stood to relax.

"Not a bad load, could've turned out better." He said, chuckling and headed over to the sale barn to sign paper work. A few hours later, he received a call from a possible answer to his ad about looking for a ranch hand or 2 to aid him in the work he does. Why would it just be Tyler and Jim with their niece and hired help with the cattle running? He would've got it done quicker too. He picks up his cell phone. "Hello?"
