Fuck it.

Ever hear Stigmata, which may be the first track on In The Land of Rape & Honey by Ministry? I used to listen to that song when I was feeling upset. I'd keep turning it up, making it louder and louder, until everything just went away. The rest of the album is a bit of a muddle, but Stigmata is awesome! "Just like a car crash, just like a knife, my favorite weapon is the look in your eyes!" I'm sure you can find the CD used, or download the track from one of the many legit music sites, like all of mp3 dot com.

I dig that album, don't have it but know it, awesome dance music.

Well if your a very good girl I might get you a copy for a pressie

And Im really annoyed cos their playing in plymouth on the 21st of June and i'll have gone home to Essex... which sucks big floppy disk drive....:(

There's another artist, Diamanda Galas, who is so hard-core that she's literally been banned from certain countries... Not just her work, but herself. A while back she created a CD set called Masque of the Red Death which dealt, in a variety of ways, with the western societal views toward aids. (Her brother had died of aids, btw.) My favorite from this is Birds of Death.

She then toured with that material, often performing in churches and cathedrals, stripped to the waist and drenched in blood. The live album, Plague Mass, is bone chilling and brutal, and you can clearly hear her using her 5 octave voice as a weapon.

A few years back I saw her perform at a club in L.A.. It was just her and a piano, and it was absolutely fantastic. She has a beautiful voice when she wants to sing beautifully, and she's an interesting song stylist. Before the show, though, I was a bit scared.

BTW, there's a great artist by the name of Rocco De Luca who is touring in England starting July 1st. He'll be doing some club dates, then performing at the Cornbury festival, opening the show that will end with Robert Plant.

He's wonderful... Not hard-core or metal, but a wonderful, soulful singer/songwriter/guitar player.

edited to say WTF is jazzmetal

if you want Id be more than happy to share some legal MP3s with you

And as for jazz metal... well if you take the answers.com results

A style of music, native to America, characterized by a strong but flexible rhythmic understructure with solo and ensemble improvisations on basic tunes and chord patterns and, more recently, a highly sophisticated harmonic idiom.

And slip the word metal in there you will have some idea! lol

There is no way that you're an ugly person. I found some of the pictures to be very seductive. I like the lighting too.
