Impeaching any president without a legal reason would mean that elections no longer have meaning. The president would really be selected by congress. The USA would no longer be a democratic republic. Congress would not be representing the choice of the people. How hard is it to connect the dots and see what that would lead to? It is a new level of dumb. They are setting the stage for catistropic global problems. Meanwhile the brainwashed libtards think they are making the world a better place. If they only knew the suffering they will see erupt from their mindless and shallow reasoning. But while it is a new level of dumb it really is just history repeating itself as a new generation of egotistical people ignore the lessons of history.

Yea, Mr. Dumb ass Paul wants to delay it because it might raise the debt and he wants to cut something to compensate for the cost. Let's see, why don't we take 7 billion, the estimated cost of the program from the 400 billion F35 boondoggle?

We can't do that because it's national security? Bullshit. What we have is a bunch of fighter jet jockeys in charge with a bottomless cookie jar and they are determined to spend it all.

If you want to consider value, I'd say taking care of those who put their lives and health on the line for this country is more important and more valuable then giving some arrogant assholes a better toy to play with, one that doesn't do 50% of what they claim it will do.

As far as the Dem''s being pussies for not starting impeachment proceedings, they are doing it the right way, investigating to assure there are grounds to do so, rather then the Trump way with insults, innuendo, lies and deceit.

Congress does have the final say in the Presidential election, since electoral votes can be discounted in the final tally.

I did some searching and I can't find anything to support your claims. It was a cursory search, so if you can provide the deets on where you got this info, I'd much appreciate it.

The only time Congress has any say is when nobody receives a majority of the electoral votes. This has happened, but rarely and not for a long time. In 1960, some Democrats made an effort to bring this about, but failed, largely thanks to the patriotism of Richard Nixon. The same people had tried and failed in 1948 and they did much the same in 1968, but failed that time too.

This is one of the advantages of the two-party system - that coalitions are not usually needed.
