As a public service announcement, I need everyone to know that it's completely unnecessary to spend more than the ticket price on Averager tickets. Honestly, they'll make us run this movie until everyone stops showing up for shows. I'll be lucky NOT to be open, literally, from Thursday to Monday. You'll get to see it. I promise!

No I think you have to know or you will always wonder what the hell happened. I at least would. It really does suck that we had to wait so long for this season to start and now to be tormented with it ending for good!

I will also not be reachable on Sunday! Oh the agony of it all!

Oh yeah, back in the day of 35mm film it was mandatory to screen all the movies to make sure they were built up correctly.

Now a days with digital, it's a little more complicated as the films are all encrypted until a certain time.

Rough Week

I don't know whether it was the emotional stress of watching Game of Thrones and Avengers. Or the physical stress of having my ass kicked when absolutely everyone came to the movies this week to watch Avengers... but I'm exhausted! I could use a week off after this week.

Game of Thrones was a let down. 8 years of 'Winter is Coming' with all the build up and preparing a multi national army and then boom....one little girl jumps in and suddenly it's Spring. No more winter.

I hope the season redeems itself by making it slow and painful for Queen Lanister.

The sun and I continue to do battle. The current war on my pasty skin stands as follows; The Sun 237 to my 10.

Think I'm swearing off spray on sunscreen. Pretty sure that guy's a traitor. The real MVP though, a borrowed hat. I've never been a hat fan, but there is no denying his hard work. Face enjoyed 100% protection. Lol

It's not often a get a chance to get down to the beach (even though that might be a STRONG word for what Galveston is) but I do so love being out near the ocean.

Been here 49 of my 52 years and never understood the obsession with Wataburger.

What is it about Torchey's - I went there a few times and couldn't understand what everyone craves them - did I just go on bad days or to a bad location?
