Ahhh, I miss Vampire--it was the first tabletop I got into, back when I had no clue how to actually roleplay or what the setting was supposed to be about...wow, I can't believe that was as far back as middle school.

Larps are fun (no boffer please), especially VtM/VtR. The backstabbing is expected, yet it's still so much fun to go out with the guy who just set you up afterwards and laugh at each other's failed and not so failed plans.

Also, through larp I've met a half dozen women that led to seriously intense relationships. Passion after a night of politics FTW!

It's rare in my area to find gamer (as in RPG) chicks...there's some places where gamers gather, but not many.

Hello all. Not a chic by any means but a guy who loves to game. How is everyone.

I am. I grew up on video games. So it kind of stuck. I was always like the only girl in the arcade when I was younger. But now it is nice to see lots of girls playing video games and being in arcades(but that is mostly to games like Dance Dance Revolution). Me I would play games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat

Two of the best. Street Fighter 2 has really stood the test of time. It is still popular. Anybody get the new remixed version for ps3 or 360.

Definitely a gamer chick here, grew up with NES and been playing ever since. Branched out to CCGs and table top RPGs in high school were I was president of my gaming club. Orgainzed a LARP with another gaming club for Halloween one year, that was tons of fun.

Now it's mostly WoW and WAR since I haven't gotten any of my other systems hooked up yet at my house except my Wii. So that puts me at currently working through Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and FFXII.

No kidding, it's great. Haven't been able to stock up on many, but I did get Super Mario Bros 3.

I am a proud gamer chick. My favorites are micro-managing games like Civilization and I have recently gotten into Spore. My stress relief are stealthy games like Assassin's Creed. Nothing like a good stealth kill.

Yeah, I'm another one of those kids who begged and pleaded for an NES the first year it came out. My husband and I played TONS of table-top RPGs in the before-kids era and still do on occasion - D&D 2 and 3.5, Mechwarrior, more recently variations on True20.... We used to MUD a lot, too. I have so little time now that I haven't even finished Oblivion yet, despite being an Elder Scrolls nutjob.

I was never really into FPSs, though. That's one area of gaming that I never became involved in.

Oh, yeah, and I'm a chick. And cute.

ya.. been in a few gaming groups in this crazy state the either self destruct or someones parents start talking about the devil worshipers playing those dungeons and dragons games .....

living at the buckle of the bible belt has disadvantages not very many advantages heh

im a sports junkie so i love sports games
but action rpgs are amazing lik fallout 3 mass effect and oblivion
i terrible at shooters but still like them
and i love all the classic stuff i have every NES SNES and Genesis game on my computer its amazing!

Ah yes, Not a girl by any means...

However, I spend several hours on WOW a week, not to mention I used to run a Wolf ET Clan, and server. Been playing games since doom 1...


Love em... Specially the FPS types, so much so, that I went and made it my day job... GO ARMY! However, I gotta say, the respawn rate in RL is suckage... We need to get with the Mods, and get the Spawn rate buffed up... It takes to long... And what about the medics weak ass battle rez?! What is that! Oh and lets not forget them nerfing my napalm... /end nerd rant.
