Hello all, I hope you all have a wonderful and somewhat game-themed Holidays (however you choose to celebrate). My wife and I will probably play some Rock Band 2 and/or Guitar Hero World Tour along with Left 4 Dead (as I know she got me that for Christmas). Anyways. Anybody else have any gamer geek plans for the Holidays?

I too shall continue my vendetta to defeat guitar hero world tour on expert mode.... I'm a little scared to get to the end cuz I had some trouble with some of the songs on hard. We shall see.

On that note actually.... Was Anyone else a little disappointed with how easy some songs were?!

Some of the songs on Expert, yes. But that's to be expected. Again, it's a sliding scale of difficulty. It's the same with Rock Band and Rock Band 2. Whereas songs like Say It Ain't So or I Think I'm Paranoid are fairly easy songs, even on Expert, when you get to songs like Ace of Spades '08 or Green Grass and High Tides, they're progressively harder.

I guess the fun is more in the group aspect of the game, more so than the beating of the game (at least in my opinion). If I wanted to wtfpwn people, I could always log into Half-Life and crow-bar people 'till the cows come home. As is, I enjoy playing games with people rather than against people.

Oob...or Bomberman Live...gotta love Bomberman.

Got a bestbuy gift card for xmas..decided i'd go ahead and purchase Left 4 Dead. I tend to not get into zombie type things but it seems to be pretty fun and I like most of the games Valve releases, i'm a big CS: Source junkie.

Left 4 Dead is a game that just came out and has 4 player co op. You can do it online in Fable 2 also. Just a couple newer games I can think of off the top of my head where you play with people

Aww man, used to have so much fun with the SNES coop games and two video stores in down. Saturday Night Slam Masters, Double Dragons, River City Ransom! (well that was NES). Countless others that I can't remember at the moment...

Genesis didn't do so bad either with the Streets of Rage series and various clones. Slime World haha, that was funny.
