In the middle of a quiet family breakfast, all seemed right. A middle-aged wife sat and slowly ate from her plate, while her husband sat with a cup of coffee in front of him, his eyes scanning through the daily newspaper. The two participated in idle conversation when suddenly a series of loud, clumsy footsteps could be heard from upstairs - getting louder and louder until a figure had reached the kitchen. The two eyed their daughter with a mixture of surprise, disappointment and desperation as the eighteen year old ran in, wearing a simple orange football jersey, pair of ripped jeans and dirty running shoes. Her hand eagerly went for a nearby apple, when she was stopped by her mother:

“Melissa. Dear.” she said, in an almost pleading tone “Can’t you wear something else?”

The young woman nearly scoffed and with a smile replied “What’s wrong with what I’m wearing now? You honestly donn’t expect me to bike to school wearing a cocktail dress, do you?”

“God Melissa. You act as if we don’t have means of transportation. We can drive you. Or I could call the chauffeur and goodness gracious! Fix your hair!”

“What’s wrong with my hair?”

“Okay, look. We’ll let you go out wearing your rags, as long as you do something about…that.” she said, pointing to Melissa’s untidy hair - before grabbing her daughter's arm. “You know what? I’m going to do this myself.”

“Wait - no, no, no! I’m going to be late…”

Her father casually took a sip of the coffee and shook his head. “And you decided to put her in public school…”

The young woman rushed through the streets on her expensive bike, pedaling between passing cars and overall, going through traffic in a reckless demeanor. And so, it must have been by a miracle that Melissa had reached the over sized high school in one piece. Locking her bike on the ramps, she casually made her way up the stairs, helmet in her right arm and her light black bag strapped on her left shoulder. Oddly enough, her curled long brown hair was completely unharmed.

Once inside, she made her way to her lockers with a few glances going her way. “Must be the eye shadow.” she thought to herself with a smile, though she knew more than anyone else that it was her body that got the attention of oh so many - and in part, the hatred of so many of the girls in senior year.

Even with her current attire, it seemed that no one could possibly match her in sheer attractiveness; her ripped jeans fitted her long legs nicely, going up to her slender hips and perfect backside before leading to a line of bare skin. Most eyes went to her very large round breasts, which tested the fabric of her loose football jersey; stretching out the school’s name “Winchester High” on her chest. Of course, her beautiful face stole one too many looks, what with her bright green eyes, perfect hair and soft lips.

But what must have really killed the popular group of girls was the fact that Melissa wasn’t even trying to steal compliments away from them. In fact, she outright rejected every man who crossed her path. It would seem that although she was a rebel in the outside, she maintained her family’s conservative values in her heart. No one had even heard of her agreeing to go on a date, let alone even kiss a guy.

However, what people did hear, was the fact that a large fortune awaited the woman once she settled down. One too many mischievous schemes emerged with some of the guys, and the truly ambitious thought of plans of having Melissa all to themselves…and knocking her up. Of course, Melissa caught news of this herself. Still, she didn't seem too distraught about it.

"Sure, there are some weirdos around. But don't worry about me, I'm careful." were her words exactly.

As the young woman deposited her biking helmet, she noticed a note in her locker. As she was about to open it up, her friend came along;

“’Sup! Hey, what’s with the note?” the short blonde said, dressed in a much more preppy fashion. The short blonde was Amelia, Melissa's best (and perhaps) only true friend. It was odd to see them get along so well - Melissa was the sworn enemy of the popular clique and Amelia could get along with them perfectly fine, when she'd have to. Of course, Amelia contrasted Melissa in many ways; she was, for all intents and purposes, the very essence of the girly girl cliche. That said, she was nowhere near as endowed as Melissa was - to the point where it was a bit ridiculous.

“Eh never mind. Probably from some creep.” she replied before throwing it away, making sure to close her locker behind her. “We’re not late for English class, are we?”

Her friend glanced at her watch and shook her head. “Nope, we’ve got about two minutes left.”

“Cool, let’s get going Amelia.” Melissa replied, as the two left the locker room.
