I would start with the fact that it's irrelevant to anything in official Washington, and I might also point to it as a boy-who-cried-wolf situation...even if there does turn out to be any legitimate cause for concern, whose fault is it really that people aren't listening to the likes of you at this point?

1 Santos is a crook and fraudster.
2 The GOP and its leadership so lack even a semblance of integrity that they will do nothing.
3 The voters don't matter at all.

In point of fact, the laptop is indeed important to "official" DC and it's infestation of critters. If the laptop has evidence of political corruption, then it directly impacts "official" Washington.

What we don't know is whether it does or doesn't because the existence of the laptop was censored by the media and the official analysis and read out of the contents are being withheld by the government.

So, making the blanket statement that it's not important to "official" Washington, is more like fantasy than fact. Yet if it turns out that there's evidence of criminal kickback without broad reaching political implications, the "official" disclaimer can be used to deny just about anything between Hunter and the President as being "official."
