My Valentine's day was less than stellar, but that's ok. The good news is did get a nice little email with a great picture in it and I hope to start writing ideas today!

I'm not overly thrilled with it, but I don't hate it either. Then again haven't had a lot of time to play with the skins and such either.
It turned into a good day eventually here, and I'm going to put pen to paper later and start getting some ideas down. If only I had a true writer's garrod to sit and create...... ah well.

Hey Everyone,
Been real busy today. I dont know what to think about the new format. I tried like hell to get the other back, I thought something was wrong with my settings. and still wouldnt know if blue hadnt said something. I guess it's not me.

I don't care for the new format. It could be that it is just new and I don't understand it. Could be I am an old fart who hates change. It could be a lot of things. It does seem to have some cool stuff but I am not sure it is easier to navigate. The bottom line for me is whether or not I can still find pictures of naked women or not!

so far i like the new format. granted i haven't spent much time w/ it, actually i didn't even know there were skins etc. it's just a matter of relearning where the buttons are.

here is today's (or probably tomorrow's) questions...
what is the longest time frame that you been in a relationship?
my answer: before joe, my max time in a relationship was 2 years (1 relationship that long and then the next closest were several 6 months). i have been in this relationship for 3.5 years and realize that i'm starting to find excuses to get out even though at the same time hoping for marriage later on with him. is it possible that there is a max threshold for some people and then they start trying to get out of relationships?
just curious about others out there...particular the women.

Hey all! It's hump day, hope everybody made it through this far unscathed. People around here are running around with the flu and strep throat, needless to say i am armed with a can on lysol. wish me luck, i'll need it if i'm going to stay healthy. Have a great week.
Savannah, my longest was 17 years. it ended at the right time for me i think, gave me time to grow and have a serious look into myself. relationships can be a wonderful thing if both people share enough of themselves with each other. however this is not usually the case which is sad. the man i'm with now,(i took a 2 year break between relationships) i share everything with, opinions, desires, fantasies,worries~i am lucky to have him. i believe there is a soul mate for all of us, finding them is just part of the adventure. have a great day ladies

A good portion of that longevity is my stubbornness and personal psychological "tender spots". No, its not a great marriage, and there have been times I've wanted to run so far so fast that legends would be written about it.
But my dad left when I was young, and that hurt still stings now and again, and passing that pain along is something I am not willing to do. The pain ends here, regardless of the cost.

thank you for your replies. i am glad to know that despite what seems the "norm" there are others who feel like i do in this day and age. my parents were married a little over 40 years when my mom passed away. i saw everything they went through, and how they handled all the obsticles...the largest being my dads infidelity. there were times when they were on the brink of divorce, yet it never happened....they always found a way to work it out. the biggest reason for this being their love for each other. i was taught by example how to get through both the thick, the thin and the almost nonexistant. i've run out of words except to say....thank you.

I just found the georgia directory. I'm not really in georgia, technically, I'm in TN but about 15 minutes from the GA line
I'm 21 years old and a nursing student. I guess I'm not really looking for anyone at the moment, but I'm open for new friends.
