With summer weather rolling in, it seems like the perfect time to go fishing.
The only problem is that we've accidentally caught a few catfish over the years.
So we're opening a Verification Thread for anyone who'd like to prove they're not just another fish tale.
If you'd like a Verified badge, share a "real" picture. Participation is completely voluntary, but it'll help everyone know who's swimming in these waters for real.
Good examples of verification:
• Write your username by hand on a piece of paper and take a picture with it.
• Write your username on your hand, arm, leg, tummy, or another visible body part and take a picture.
• Share a short video introducing yourself.
• Any other reasonable photo that clearly shows you're a real person.
A few simple rules:
• No AI-generated images.
• No heavily edited or filtered photos.
• Please make sure the verification is current and clearly tied to your account.
Most importantly: Be real.
Tight lines, and may your catches be authentic.
