My wife encouraged me to jump on this site, and while I am liking what I am seeing I am skeptical of her hypothesis.
We are ethically non-monogamist, and I was telling here that it is easy for her to get attention on the dating apps because she is female and not looking for a long term commitment, basically what every guy hopes they will find on those apps. While as a man, I am unlikely to ever have a conversation that turns into something.
I have also been reading that the younger generation is basically in full revolt on the apps because they are so awful so I don't think I am alone in not liking them. I am glad it has worked for her once, but even she says that the hours of misery might not be worth the rare connection.
Long story short... to late, let me sum up.... She says she has better luck on this site and encouraged me to create an account and post. Her hypothesis is that I can be a real person and others will respond to that, she says I am actually quite charming in person. My skepticism is that like everywhere else, the number of women, looking for an encounter is low compared to the number of men hoping for the same thing.
Any ladies want to prove me wrong :-D
I am happy to start with just chatting and see where it goes. I am open to a longer term repeat relationship or a once and done bit of fun. I am in MA, US 1/2 of the year and I am in Athens Greece the other half, with a month here month there schedule.
