Okay Nick. First lesson, you need to use proper puncuation. Put a period or proper mark at the end of each sentence, a comma at each pause in the sentence, a colon when one piece of text goes directly to another (IE. Name: Nick), a semi-colon when something is technically the same sentence but a new line of text (IE. He went to the store to buy food; he had recieved his paycheck a few hours prior. Or you could form it into one sentence: He went to the store, seeing as how he recieved his paycheck a few hours prior.). Depending on what you are trying to say in the sentence, one of several ending puncuation marks must be used. If it is a sentence that merely states something, a period will do. If the sentence is intended to create excitement, or any kind of highetened emotion, use an exclamation point (I actually don't know how to spell that right, lol. See, even I need more practice.). An exclamation point is a ! (IE. Oh my god, I got laid last night!). If the sentence is strong enough, you can add in multiple exclamation points.
If the sentence is left to be continued or and unanswered end, several periods may be used (IE. You mean, he is gonna......).

There is much MUCH more to learn, but I will leave you to study this for now. I'll post another lesson tomorrow.

Hmmm. A few problems. One, you need to use some sort of symbol to seperate dialogue from narration. Also, take your time and correct misspellings. And in that sentence, a comma is needed instead of a semi-colon. Here is the proper way to write that line:

"Hey! Wait up Jeff!" Nick yelled as he ran with his white tattered shoes, seeing Jeff was leaving, and along with him his ride.

See?

And as for the second part, you need a space after each comma and between the "a" and "cookie".

Some people have absolutely no concept of appropriate things to say and when to say them. I still don't get why these people feel that have to imsult others. Is it a self esteem issue? Maybe they feel bigger and better if they make someone else feel smaller than them... I really don't know. but I will say this to all: I pity anyone who has had such horrors in their life that they feel they need to make others feel like shit to make themselves feel better. Looking back on my reply to you, I see that it may have been a little harsh. I apoligize for that. I may have been in a bad mood and feeling some type of way that day, and for that I am sorry. I read it and just flet like it was an indirect cry for a pitty party, and replied the way most others did. I guess it was stupid for me to be so judgemental.
