@Publius68 is crafting an amazing modern fantasy in Tiki Totem Hotel. The new owners of a hotel attempt to save the failing property. Other forces are at play that they don't understand. Don't miss out on this top-tier work by a fantastic writer.

@woodstock1969 is nearly complete on a great modern romance about a professional hockey player and a grad student in Boston in Quite Contrary. If you enjoy romantic stories, give it a read.

Being new on Lit my posting may seem amateur so please excuse me if this story has been mentioned before.

Having delved in many works since joining, one has been a favourite and became an obsession to finish… in fact, I have re-read it twice and when published I will definitely be buying a hardcover.

The author is @MariadelaO and she’s has written “Once It Gets Dark” - if you are like me, looking for an escape, looking to live vicariously through a writers thoughts and get lost in a fantasy while doing so, then - this story is so worthy of your time!

Without giving any spoilers, it is a reluctance/ non consent story with strong traits of dominance, fantasy, romance, erotica and a plot that constantly evolves as you read.

The sex scenes are delicious (if you like reluctance/ non consent) they are not void of passion, colour and mental images… which, in my mind, speaks volumes to the ability of the writer who is able to lure the readers attention but also create a mirage in one’s mind with each scene.

Give it a chance if you are curious.
