Yeah - I can relate. Just now getting into the busy time of year for me. I love the holidays, but they can get a little stressful and hectic - between worrying about buying gifts, deciding which of the 4 parents's houses to go to, and whether or not we'll be in town... it gets crazy. I agree - I love my family - and my H's family - a lot. But it just gets hectic trying to figure out where to go. And to see everyone. And, H's family is much easier that way. It's mine that can be demanding, etc. Part of that is because they live 4 hours away, so we try and go up around Christmas, and usually have only had a day or two to spend there.... so it's a mad dash to do the family stuff....

Should be better this year - and yesterday - we skipped the whole family thing. Went to friends... had a relaxing time... it was wonderful!
