Gunman who shot national guardsmen in Washington D.C. may have used ASSAULT-STYLE firearm.

The Republicans for invading Afghanistan, the Republicans for ordering a rushed withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Republicans for complaining that Afghan interpreters and guides were abandoned to the Taliban instead of being given asylum and the Republicans for granting asylum to a person who then took advantage of the 2nd Amendment.

Who did Trump blame? President Biden.

Doesn't know what the fuck the 2nd amendment is.

Hey.
I have the best conspiracy theory. You might like this one.
As you have noted, he was trained and worked for the CIA. (In a group known as the "death squad".)
The CIA now is run by John Ratcliffe and Tulsi Gabbard.
Who benefits from the shooting?
The Trump Administration. It gives them the excuse to send more troops into DC and to deport more brown people and Muslims.
Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that Gabbard and Ratcliffe used the CIA connections to get this guy to shoot some National Guard members.

I assume you find this logic compelling.

well the cia are spies and secret agents

Negative. I think the CIA acts independently of political control or democratic oversight. Research any of the following: JFK Assassination, Operation CHAOS, Project FUBELT (Chile), Operation Mongoose (Cuba), Post-9/11 Black Site Program, Extraordinary Rendition Program. All of which were conducted without any claimed political or Presidential authority. It demonstrates that even in democracies, agencies labeled as “intelligence” can function extrajudicially with near-impunity or political consequence. Ask Chuck Schumer.

isnt black sites underground very secretive government groups that they hiding in the shadows involved with supernatural beings methahumans mutants aliens from outer space time traveling and alternate earths

Yet you directly and deliberately conflated it with a right to murder.

Just because you can C&P something doesn't mean your dumb ass understands it. :D

Thanks, I'm always happy for fools to put words in my mouth when I have insufficient of my own.

Nobody did that, you're just being held accountable for what you posted....
the Republicans for granting asylum to a person who then took advantage of the 2nd Amendment.
You directly conflated 2A with a right to murder. Own it !!! You posted it!! :D Don't bitch out now!!

Who did the left try and blame for this event right at the beginning?
Of course, each side is going to try to blame the other. That was not my point.
My observation was that, if you are of a conspiratorial mindset, you look first at who benefits from the murder. The answer is the administration, which can use it to justify its policies.
Personally, I think it’s most likely a troubled human being with a deep feeling of betrayal by our government. But I don’t see conspiracies. I see the world as made up of complex, flawed humans struggling to get by and to understand.

Blaming the Trump administration for a shooting carried out by an Afghan refugee Biden brought into the country is exactly the kind of upside-down logic that keeps D.C. spinning like a malfunctioning ceiling fan. The idea that the administration “benefits” from this is absurd. This wasn’t some deep-state chess move; it was the predictable consequence of Biden’s chaotic withdrawal and mass importation of "unvetted" Afghan nationals. That’s his legacy, not Trump’s. You can talk about flawed humans all day, but at some point, policy choices matter. And pretending this happened because of anything Trump did is just an attempt to dodge responsibility for the Biden policy disaster that actually set this up.

Trump could've deported him when they granted him asylum in April of this year.

Fucking losers.

I'm not saying it was because of anything Trump did.
As I said.
I am not a conspiracy theorist.
I'm not blaming Trump for granting asylum to this man. He fought our war, and I think he deserved to be alloweed in this country. Trump was right to award him asylum.
There are nearly 200,000 Afghans in this country. (not counting the dogs).
One of them committed a deranged act.
There are about 3500 residents of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Are they responsible for the actions of Vance Boelter?
There are about 25,000 residents of Clinton, Iowa.
Are they responsible for the actions of Stephen Paddock?

But
If I did believe that there is some larger movement responsible for Lakanwal's actions, I would point to the people who run the agency that trained him today and who have siezed upon his actions to justify a policy targeted against a group of people.

I'm old. I remember a time when we held people responsible for their own actions.

He applied for asylum in 2024. So he was most likely processed by holdover Biden administration officials who had yet to be ousted. He had overstayed his original visa. As soon as his application was accepted, that process cancelled the potential consequences of his overstayed visa. It's more likely the administration that let him and then let him slide was also most likely those responsible for him remaining in the US to do us harm. The media reports only state that a “government file” shows asylum approval. They don’t, and likely legally can’t, for privacy/review reasons, publicly reveal the internal adjudicator’s name or detail the full chain of review. Asylum processing involves classified vetting if the individual has previous military or intelligence connections (as Lakanwal did).

And he was granted asylum this year, rather than being deported. With all of the information available..

By the Trump administration.

There does seem to be a recurring theme coming from the White House, anyway.
That anything that happens that is bad is a result of leftovers from the Biden administration.
But you do seem to be ignoring my main point.
Why are Afghans to be villified when so many U.S. citizens have committed horrendous crimes.
Why not blame all people born in their towns?

"I'm not a conspiracy theorists", bit here'sy conspiracy theory
