Hotaru: "He was a scientist, forever inventing stuff. One day, an experiment of his exploded. It killed my mom and almost killed me but this creature, Pharoah 90 made a deal with him for my father to let Pharoah 90 to possess him and fulfill his plan while Mistress 9 would take me over and permit me to live. Because of that I was sick a lot and she would force me to attempt to take pure heart crystals to restore her own strength. By the end of the battle against the two beings, Serena gave me a fresh start since I sacrificed my life then. I was returned to my father who didn't remember a thing of all that. Unfortunately, since it was getting close for Saturn to return, the other outers took me from him and raised me since I was aging rapidly. He ended up dying in another explosion and I couldn't even go to his funeral."

Hotaru: "Master Splinter." she smiled at the thought of the kind old rat. "You and your brothers and Raye were all very lucky to have such a great guy for a father. My father figure was Amara." she chuckled slightly
