if the facts are that these people participated in anti-semite/racist salutes as some form of celebrating their views and beliefs, then i am with you 100%I’m with the Governor on this one. There’s no excuse for participating in this photo. They, and everyone involved needs to be canned.
the governor may well have a shitload more info than we have, and is posting accordingly... if he has that information, then i believe he could have come out even more strongly since he can have each person identified and thrown out of the system, plus a full top-down review of why this was allowed to happen. IF he is acting just on the image, alone, then he's clearly aware of how bad the optics are and that everyone will have an opinion--opinions which will reflect uber-negatively against his running of the system.
seems strange he's keen to destroy all the pictures: it/they are evidence and justification (along with further, corroborating information) for the firing of those trainees, their training staff AND, possibly, the damned photographer. it's a historical black-mark under his watch; destroying all the evidence seems more than a little suspicious
