Phew what a day. We left Massachusetts this morning (but not before I spied a Crabtree & Evelyn outlet and made ee stop so I could fill the car with even more schtuff), and drove to this hotel in Pennsylvania. Now the last time we were here there was a taxidermy convention (eep). This weekend there's a tattoo show going on and it's um ink and mohawk-tastic here (we saw some gawjus young things with beehive hair and great vintage looks). And loud, very loud live music, but not in our little room. I said it's always rockin here, huh? to the desk clerk and she winked and gave me free drink coupons.
What a beautiful drive south with spring budding more the further we go. And eagleyez is really in love with me today cause I routed us over the Tappan Zee and not the GW bridge, which meant he didn't have to drive on the Cross Bronx Expressway.
