Not a good idea.

A glass of wine with supper, and a glass of port at midnight.
By the time I got home and fought my way through the assorted bizarrely dressed drunks in the streets, I had lost any desire for anything to drink except a cuppa.

Happy New Year!! everybody. I don't have a hangover because I didn't drink last night. I actually quit thirty years ago today after a lifetime of trying to kill myself. I miss drinking sometimes but I look at what I have done for myself and for those I hold dear and I don't miss it very much.
