How are you celebrating today?

I adopted a philosophy about St. Patrick's Day -- along with Cinco de Mayo and most especially New Year's Eve.

The phrase, when it comes to "celebrating" these occasions is:

AMATEUR NIGHT​

Thus I tend to try to stay off the streets and celebrate in safer, more controlled environments. Today -- just chowing through green things -- cupcakes with icky green frosting -- Lucky Charms cereal and asparagus.

Corned Beef and Cabbage. Green Beer if we can find it.

Did anyone watch Boondock Saints? It's been our tradition to do a shot of Jamieson's and a kiss of the clover and watch the movie.

As a taste of Celtic music try, Horslips, Drop-kick Murphy's, Rory Gallagher, the Pogues, Thin Lizzy, U2, Sinead o'Connor, Cranberries. Those are a few of some good bands to listen to tonight and party with Paddy!!! Erin Go Braugh!!!!
