They are painted gold with brown edging, a nice effect since they were just from old plywood

ah the pic isn't the best, plus there is a difference between how it looks on a Mac and a PC


I hope to make many more next year, but for now, it is time to do more varnishing! oh oh

a smaller similar shaped bowl, this one has nice coloring on the rim, due to the fact that I soaked it for a few days and it seems to have begun to soak some mold into the wood

this was the big one, about 11" across and about 4" deep. a nice big salad bowl. Hefty and sturdy. The biggest chunk I have worked with so far, this weighed maybe 20 lbs when I started turning it.
