Thanks for the great link. I am just curious though, and I am sure you will find out, what is this museum doing in Kansas??? I know a lot about the space progran, and I do not remembr any part of it being done in Kansas.

I hope your shark movie is 3D, I saw some Imax 3d in it was so realistic I could not believe it, not like in the days when I was a kid. I am amazed by the advances.

I will give lots of huggs and es to you. Of course I could use some right back. Last night I tried to play the DVD thru the stereo and got nothing. so I fiddled around, and suddenly LOTS of volume for asec before the fuses on the speakers blew. Today I got new ones and now all I get is treble. Which spells TROUBLE for me. No idea if it is reciever trouble or speaker trouble. Oh Thats just one of the many things that have gone wrong the past few days.

Its back to making toy like things at someone's shop tomorrow. He is interested in making chairs for the kids with cancer, they can only use their own toys and such to prevent infection, so we would be painting their names on it. We are just in the organizational phases with this.

hmm...i really have no idea why Kansas was chosen. location? maybe because Kansas is the aviation capital? dunno. it's a pretty kick ass place though with lots of cool stuff. my daughter pretty much ignored most of it...but i made her take pause in front of the apollo 13 area, as she had just watched the movie with us a couple of days before visiting there...and i was showing her how that was the actual capsule they landed back here in, and the actual suit that was worn by Jim Lovell.

i don't think our IMAX is 3D, but i know it's still pretty cool to watch stuff on there regardless

Thanks Em, but you know I have seen your work so there is no way I believe you could not do at least the same, and more likely MUCH better

They are just fun sketches to do while I start getting my skills back, though there is something about unfinished, unperfected works that I really enjoy.I have pads and pads just filled with them.

I just applied for a grant so that I might be able to go to Colorado this summer for a 4 day woodturning workshop. fingers crossed! For some reason I have always felt drawn there. it looks so beautiful

and don't feel bad about the writing, actually I had that problem big time the past year, I did not write at all because of my hand, and it got to the point where writing a Birthday card gave me fits. I could hardly form the letters and if I did, I have to seriously concentrate on writing the correct ones. I felt so lame. But that past few days I have felt my abilities coming back, along with my talents. I think this was 5 days in a row of drawing now, maybe 6. It's just hard ot keep motivated after the first day or so, that is the hard part. But I miss making art a lot so I have that to fuel me.
