So this is the other part of Harleywood...
I do woodworking, this is a vase made out of a pine tree that the neighbor cut down and was throwing away. I like to reclaim discarded wood.

Hon...please tell me that you make money from your "trade"

Those are absolutely beautiful and stunning. Wow. Really, if you're not, you really should be selling some of the stuff you make (I say some, because it would be hard for me to part with all of them...some things I'd just want to hold onto for myself that I made..ya know?) but you could make some really good money if you did.

I have to say, I love the vase. That you were able to take a piece of wood and shape it into that...so smooth and flawless looking.
Damn...you really have a gift hon.

Hope to be making money from it soon. I have a few people who want vases and other things so far. it's difficult to get started in it, but I am plugging along.

As long as I have some pics of my work, I do not mind parting with it. It makes me feel even better to know that it goes to someone who appreciates it. :D

well let me know if you do take off with that...cuz I'd be interested in having a vase like that. Or a mug (thinking of the wooden mugs I see at Renaissance Fairs) If I had the money, I'd definitely buy some stuff like that from you. :)
