Harry Potter *bounces*

I liked Harry Potter. I mostly read the first one because some people in the bible belt here wanted to ban and burn it. That always peaks my interest. I liked it. Gave it to my kids. Recommended it to patrons at the library. I liked all the books until the last one. The one in which, everyone ignored and kept secrets from Harry who had saved their world how many times now? So when my Mom brings this book for my daughter, I will wait until she reads it and tells me it's better before I bother.

As to Johnny Depp, I too liked him on 21 Jump Street! I like him still. In this latest movie though he looks like a cross between A Clockwork Orange and Michael Jackson. That is imho not a good look. I am not planning on going to see it.

I love closed captioning. With the way things are recording now that is often the only way I can make out the actual dialogue. The explosions and car chases are always loud enough. The dialog is often quiet and mumbled which way sucks if you ask me.

How far is anyone?
Page 109, my SO has been hogging it and is almost done! :( But I will catch up very soon as he has to work tomorrow and I don't! :D I just saw the trailer for Goblet of Fire and it looks really good, but I'm dissapointed that it's only 150mins, it just doesn't seem long enough IMO. And I'm upset the Molly and the Dursleys are cut out...just doesn't seem right!!

...did he die or something?

If by he you mean Harry...no he didn't die. He can't die in this book as there is going to a seventh and you can't have a seventh Harry Potter book w/out Harry Potter.

But that's all I'm saying.

.....the ghost of Harry Potter? haha I'd so buy it

I need some cookies, too. And aspirine.
I only got the book yesterday at 11 am. (Had to wait for my sister to go to the bookstore together, as she was buying it -not very much money here :( ) She told me to finish it until friday, so she can start reading after her exams. Big deal, 600 pages, means 120 per day. After I was done with my 120 pages for yesterday I couldn't stop. I finished the book at 10 pm last night
Anyhow, my head didn't like me reading the whole day, and after the last few chapters with crying and stuff... Now I have a pretty bad headache :( It was worth it, though.
I didn't like the book as much as the fourth (my favorite so far), but it was WAY better than the fifth with everybody's stupiditiy and that evil Umbridge person.
